Drive Systems

MKE have a dedicated drive systems team who are able to supply new ABB drives and soft starts. This long established partnership allows us to offer matched package solutions to meet our customer needs. Our Drives Systems department are the official stockists and service arm of ABB. Variable speed drives up to 160kw are held in stock and up to 250kw are available next day. We have a close relationship with the ABB manufacturing plant in Finland who are able to supply sizes up to 1500kw on a short lead time.

Additionally we have an in-house panel building facility that can offer complete turn key solutions for all stages of the drive system manufacture from the initial concept and design stage through to construction, installation and commissioning.

We also have drive hire stock up to 315kw which can be used to cover emergency breakdowns or efficiency proving. All of our drives can be hired and installed from our drives department.

Energy audits and harmonic surveys can be carried out to identify running cost savings and potential pay back periods on various pump and fan applications.
