For over half a century MKE has maintained an outstanding reputation regarding its electrical engineering expertise.

With three workshops, we are able to rewind all types of AC & DC motors, from fractional horsepower through to multi MW generators, alternators and electric motors up to 20 tonnes in weight. In addition, as a member of the AEMT (The Association of Electrical and Mechanical Trades) we use best practices to rewind motors. MKE is one of only five SKF Certified Rebuilders in the country and our customers can be safe in the knowledge that all repairs are carried out to the highest standards and energy efficiency codes of practice.

As you would expect from a company with an industry leading reputation, all parts and materials we use are of the highest quality, including wherever possible, the manufacturers’ own parts. Our engineers are time served and are competent in the disconnection of electric motors, their removal and subsequent refitting.

Our skills and expertise has led to a number of professional accreditations and approvals resulting in successful trade partnerships including ABB Motor Services Partner for the South East, SKF Certified Rebuilder for the South and the sole Stamford approved Service Provider for products and services throughout the UK. MKE are one of the three top ABB Motor Service Partners within the UK and hold  a stock of ABB motors up to 250kw on site enhanced by a central stock of up to 400kw available for next day delivery in most speed ranges and frame sizes.
